Bade Miyan Chote Miyan and Maidaan both came out on Eid 2024, making it a huge clash at the box office.

There was a lot of excitement about these two big movies even before they hit theaters. People were talking about them, and both movies got a good amount of attention. Maidaan got better reviews than Bade Miyan Chote Miyan, but more people were interested in the latter. Now that they're out, let's see how they did on their first day at the box office.

According to reports, Bade Miyan Chote Miyan made Rs 15.5 crore on its first day, which is okay but not great considering its big budget. On the other hand, Maidaan earned Rs 7.10 crore, including money from paid previews, but it's still behind by more than Rs 8 crore compared to Bade Miyan Chote Miyan.

Having both movies released on the same day divided the audience, affecting their box office collections. The real test will be this weekend, and it'll be interesting to see which movie comes out on top.

Even though Bade Miyan Chote Miyan had a decent opening, it hasn't made a big impact yet. It's the second biggest opener after Fighter, but it's nowhere near the success of some big movies from last year, like Shah Rukh Khan's Jawan.

As for Maidaan, it's considered a better movie by critics, but it hasn't performed as well as Bade Miyan Chote Miyan so far. However, things could change based on word of mouth, and Maidaan might do better over the weekend. Stay tuned for more updates on OTTPlayer.
