Story of the Movie
The story revolves around two brides who accidentally get exchanged on a train to Mukhi in rural India, leading to a comedic journey of self-discovery as they search for the actual bride."Laapataa Ladies" received a warm reception during its theatrical release on March 1 and garnered praise for its storyline, entertainment value, stellar performances, and witty humour. It also received a standing ovation during its premiere at TIFF.
