According to industry tracker Sacnilk, the film grossed Rs 16.25 crore on Day 2 after collecting Rs 9 crore on Saturday. This strong 25 percent surge has brought relief for the makers as the weekend trend signals steady audience interest.
Directed by Tushar Jalota, Param Sundari brings together a cultural clash narrative between Delhi’s Param and Kerala’s Sundari. The film has been praised widely for its music, with songs like Pardesiya receiving positive feedback. While comparisons with earlier hits like Chennai Express and 2 States have surfaced, audiences continue to appreciate the soundtrack and the refreshing chemistry between the leads.
In terms of occupancy, the film showed clear improvement from its opening day. Cities like Bengaluru and Chennai reported consistent crowds while Hyderabad, Jaipur, and Delhi NCR saw a stronger push on Saturday. Overall occupancy rates hovered around 18 percent, with late night shows drawing the most traction. Mumbai saw a slight increase while Surat remained the weakest market.
