The much-anticipated film Supreme Warriors was launched in style with a grand pooja ceremony at Rama Naidu Studios, marking an exciting new chapter for Aadi Akshara Entertainments. This is the banner’s second production, with producer Pedapudi Baburao not only backing the film but also taking on a key acting role. The project is helmed by director Hari Chandan and features an ensemble cast from both South and North Indian cinema.

The launch event on August 11 was graced by several notable names from the industry, including Davala Satyam, Bellamkonda Suresh, Veera Shankar, Sangareddy MLA Chinta Prabhakar, Shiva Raj Patil, Markapuram Shiva Kumar, and Srinivas Reddy. For the auspicious muhurat shot, MLA Chinta Prabhakar switched on the camera, while Davala Satyam and Dr Murali Mohan jointly directed the first take as a ceremonial gesture.

Speaking at the ceremony, Dr Murali Mohan expressed his excitement about the project, praising the story narrated by Hari Chandan and highlighting Baburao’s passion for cinema despite being an NRI. He lauded Baburao’s dual role as producer and actor, calling Supreme Warriors a project with great potential for success.

Veteran filmmaker Davala Satyam also showered praise on Baburao and the team, commending the dedication and patience in developing the script before commencing production. He expressed confidence that the film’s strong concept and committed crew would ensure its success.

Producer Pedapudi Baburao shared his journey with the project, revealing that the team has been working on the story for over two and a half years. Describing Supreme Warriors as a sci-fi action thriller, he promised a gripping narrative, impactful scenes, and surprising twists. He also spoke about the honour of acting alongside Dr Murali Mohan, who gave him his first break in Athadu.

Director Hari Chandan gave insight into the film’s origins, explaining that the idea took shape during the COVID era and was inspired by global events. The story revolves around eight central characters, with Dr Murali Mohan portraying a role unlike any in his career so far. The film will blend high-octane action with emotional depth, particularly focusing on themes connected to military and army families. In preparation, the team interacted with nearly 800 army families to bring authenticity to the narrative.

The cast includes Dr Murali Mohan, Pedapudi Baburao, Mahima Chaudhary, Kalpana, Aditya Om, Prithviraj, Davala Satyam, Virendra Chauhan, Rajpal Yadav, and Mohan Sharma, among others. With a stellar lineup and a powerful premise, Supreme Warriors is shaping up to be one of the most exciting upcoming projects in Indian cinema.
