Initial Plans with Kalyan Krishna
Originally, Kalyan Krishna, known for "Soggade Chinni Nayana" and "Bangararju," was set to direct the film. However, Chiranjeevi did not approve of the final draft, leading to the project being called off. Sushmita was disappointed but remained hopeful.
New Direction with Mohan Raja
Chiranjeevi has now decided to work with Tamil director Mohan Raja. This collaboration marks their second project together. Writer BVS Ravi and director Mohan Raja developed a script which Chiranjeevi liked but requested changes. After reworking the script, Chiranjeevi approved the final version, giving the project the green light.
Previous Collaboration
Chiranjeevi and Mohan Raja previously worked together on the successful film "Godfather," the official remake of the Malayalam hit "Lucifer." Chiranjeevi appreciated how Mohan Raja directed the film and highlighted his skills. This new project will be based on an original script.
Sushmita's Dream Project
Sushmita Konidela has long dreamed of producing a film with her father. This project, which she will produce alongside her husband, is set to be a large-scale production.
