Advance Booking Numbers

The much-awaited legal drama Jolly LLB 3, starring Akshay Kumar, Arshad Warsi, and Saurabh Shukla, has opened advance bookings across the country. So far, the film has collected ₹74.24 lakh in gross bookings for its opening day, with 23,965 tickets sold across 3,617 shows. Including block seats, the total collection has reached ₹2.17 crore.

Maharashtra has emerged as the frontrunner in advance bookings with ₹41.99 lakh, while Delhi follows with ₹64.48 lakh, and Gujarat has contributed ₹16.93 lakh. States like West Bengal and Uttar Pradesh also showed decent traction with over ₹13 lakh and ₹17.6 lakh respectively. On the other hand, smaller states such as Tripura and Himachal Pradesh recorded negligible sales.

Occupancy Trends Across States

Despite the numbers, the overall occupancy remains low in most regions, hovering between 0% and 10%. Karnataka saw the highest occupancy at 41%, though this figure comes from just three shows. Delhi and West Bengal recorded the highest number of fast-filling and nearly full shows, suggesting a stronger urban pull for the film. With two days still left before release, trade experts expect momentum to pick up as the weekend approaches.

The Jolly LLB franchise has a proven track record at the box office. The first film, released in 2013, was made on a modest ₹12 crore budget and went on to collect ₹32.43 crore net in India, becoming a certified hit. Its sequel, Jolly LLB 2, released in 2017 with Akshay Kumar stepping into the lead, was a much bigger success. Made on a ₹30 crore budget, it grossed ₹197.33 crore worldwide, cementing its status as a super-hit.
