The trailer of Little Hearts is here and it is already creating buzz with its delightful mix of comedy and nostalgia. Directed by Sai Marthand under the ETV Win Originals banner, the film features Mouli Tanuj of 90s Middle Class Biopic fame and Shivani Nagaram from Ambajipeta Marriage Band in the lead roles. Produced by Aditya Hasan with Bunny Vas and Vamsi Nandipati presenting it theatrically, the film is set for a grand release on September 5.
The trailer opens with the playful line, “A story before Jio SIM entered our lives,” immediately pulling audiences back to a simpler time. Akhil, played by Mouli Tanuj, is a carefree intermediate student from Sainikpuri whose father, portrayed by Rajeev Kanakala, constantly worries about his son’s future. Their household banter is captured perfectly in a scene where Akhil jokes with his mother to serve him food before his father comes home so he can eat in peace.
On the other side, Katyayani, played by Shivani Nagaram, struggles even more with academics but wins hearts with her innocence. When she meets Akhil, his sharp wit and carefree nature instantly charm her. Their young romance blossoms as Akhil boldly declares that he does not need anyone else but Katyayani. However, the real drama unfolds when her family decides to move to Bengaluru, leaving audiences curious about whether the young lovers will stay together.
What makes the trailer stand out is its vibrant humor, warm characterizations, and the nostalgic pre smartphone vibe. The playful dialogues, endearing chemistry between the leads, and authentic slice of life setting make Little Hearts feel refreshing and relatable.
The supporting cast, including Rajeev Kanakala, S. S. Kanchi, Anita Chowdary, and Satya Krishnan, add depth to the narrative. With music by Sinjit Yerramalli and cinematography by Surya Balaji, the film promises a visually engaging and musically lively experience.
Little Hearts is shaping up to be a heartfelt entertainer that blends laughter, love, and nostalgia in equal measure. With its September 5 release date, audiences can look forward to a wholesome family watch that celebrates youthful romance and lighthearted fun.
