"Manjummel Boys," a super exciting movie based on a true story from 2006, came to theaters on February 22, 2024. It became super popular really fast, making a lot of money on its first day. The movie is about a bunch of friends who go on an adventure to Kodaikanal. They decide to explore a part of Guna caves that people aren't supposed to go into. Everyone's been really excited to watch this movie at home on the OTT platform.
First, people thought it would be available on Disney Plus Hotstar on April 5, but it didn’t happen, and no one said why. Now, it looks like we have to wait a bit longer, maybe until May, to watch it from home. A movie expert, AB George, said that the movie is expected to come out in May 2024, not April like people thought.

From February 22 to March 11, "Manjummel Boys" made Rs 89.15 crore in theaters and Rs 130 crore all around the world. By March 21, it had made over Rs 200 crore worldwide. This is huge because it's the first time a movie from the Malayalam language has done this well, and it's the third top movie in India for 2024.

Chidambaram S Poduval directed the movie. It stars Soubin Shahir, Sreenath Bhasi, Balu Varghese, Ganapathi S. Poduval, Lal Jr, Deepak Parambol, Abhiram Radhakrishnan, and Arun Kurian. They all did an amazing job bringing this adventurous story to life.
