This means Saiyaara might only land on OTT platforms around Diwali.

For fans who rely on digital viewing, this delay might come as a disappointment. But from a business standpoint, it makes perfect sense. Saiyaara is drawing crowds day after day, proving that certain stories are best enjoyed on the big screen. The visuals, music, and emotional beats have created a community viewing experience that is hard to replicate on smaller devices.

Netflix, which has acquired the film’s streaming rights, will undoubtedly benefit once the film eventually arrives on the platform. But until then, the theatre run is being extended to let more viewers join in on what is becoming a rare Bollywood success story.
