Suresh Kondeti, known for delivering emotionally resonant films to Telugu audiences, is back with another heart-tugging story. This time, it is the Telugu version of the critically acclaimed Tamil film DNA, now titled My Baby. The film stars National Award-winning actress Nimisha Sajayan and is directed by Nelson Venkatesan. Set for a grand theatrical release on July 18, My Baby is arriving with strong buzz and big expectations.

At the trailer launch held at Ramanaidu Studios in Hyderabad, Suresh Kondeti shared why this project felt special from the beginning. He revealed that acquiring the rights was not easy, as the original producers quoted a steep price. But his track record of successful emotional dramas convinced them to place their trust in him. From Premiste to Journey, Kondeti has had a knack for curating stories that connect with audiences beyond language.

What makes My Baby stand out, according to him, is its powerful emotional core. The film dives deep into a mother-daughter bond while also offering commercial elements that appeal to the mass audience. With five high-octane action sequences and gripping drama, it aims to balance sentiment and spectacle. The premiere show reportedly left senior actor Murali Mohan in tears, a moment that reassured the team about the film’s emotional power.

Released under Kondeti’s SK Pictures in collaboration with Yash Film Factory, My Baby is hitting nearly 350 screens across Andhra Pradesh and Telangana, including over 130 in the Nizam region alone. It marks the biggest release Kondeti has ever undertaken, and the screen count may still grow. Co-producer Saicharan Tej of Yash Film Factory expressed full confidence in the film and stated that this partnership is just the beginning.

At the event, veteran filmmaker Tammareddy Bharadwaja praised Kondeti’s legacy in bringing quality cinema to Telugu viewers long before OTT made cross-language viewing common. He described My Baby as a film with strong content and immense emotional depth.

The title change from DNA to My Baby was a strategic one. Kondeti felt the new name would resonate more deeply with Telugu families, and even the original producers agreed the alternate title carried greater emotional appeal. For a film that promises to pull at the heartstrings and deliver solid storytelling, My Baby is shaping up to be more than just a dubbed release. It is a story waiting to connect with every mother, daughter, and movie lover in the audience.
