March OTT releases are setting the bar high in the content game! Check out the much-talked-about shows and upcoming releases, and watch them on your favourite platforms.

1. Bramayugam

In "Bramayugam," a mysterious 'mana' ensnares individuals like a black hole, freezing time and ensnaring them eternally. Mammootty's haunting depiction amplifies the eerie ambience. The black-and-white backdrop heightens the primitive 17th-century aura, although the narrative lacks novelty. Nevertheless, it delves into themes of unchecked authority and human behaviour, offering food for thought. Catch it on SonyLiv starting March 15 for those intrigued.

2. Lal salaam

Lal Salaam, has a slow-paced narrative and lacklustre emotional depth, despite commendable performances, including Rajinikanth's. While technical elements hold up, AR Rahman's score falls short. Overall, it's a letdown, suggesting viewers explore other entertainment choices. Catch it on Netflix on March 15 for those still interested.

3. Lover

Lover portrays the tumultuous bond between Arun and Divya, exploring Arun's possessiveness and Divya's quest for independence. Despite some repetition, the film offers a deep dive into their relationship, supported by strong performances, music, and cinematography. Catch "Lover" on Disney+ Hotstar on March 15 for a compelling viewing experience.

 4. Murder Mubarak

Netflix's 'Murder Mubarak' trailer teases a gripping murder mystery set in an opulent club, with ACP Bhavani Singh (Pankaj Tripathi) leading the investigation. The stellar cast, including Sara Ali Khan, Karisma Kapoor, and Dimple Kapadia, promises an engaging storyline akin to 'Knives Out.' Directed by Homi Adajania, the film is set to stream on Netflix from March 15 onward, garnering praise for its intriguing plot and top-notch performances.

5. Taylor Swift: The Eras Tour

Taylor Swift's concert film "Taylor Swift: The Eras Tour" captures her magnetic stage presence and infectious energy during her live show at SoFi Stadium. With a runtime of about 165 minutes, the film showcases Swift's charisma and knack for engaging her audience, although some shots feel disjointed. Directed by Homi Adajania, the film is set to stream on Netflix from March 15 onward, promising to delight fans with Swift's captivating performances.

6. Hanuman

HanuMan, directed by Prasanth Varma and starring Teja Sajja and Amritha Aiyer, will debut on OTT platform Zee5 on March 16, 2024. The film, which initially hit theatres on December 12, 2023, garnered positive reviews and has crossed the Rs 350 crore mark at the box office. It follows the story of Hanumanthu, who gains superpowers but can only use them in sunlight. Produced by K Niranjan Reddy, the movie has sparked talks of a sequel and was made on a budget of Rs 60 crore.

7. Big Girls Don't Cry

"Big Girls Don't Cry...They Get Even" presents a sentimental comedy about the aftermath of multiple divorces. Despite its optimistic message about family harmony, the film's reliance on caricature and sitcom formula dilutes its impact. Released on Prime Video on March 14, the movie offers mild amusement but lacks deeper insight into the complexities of marital breakups and family dynamics.

8. No Way Up

"No Way Up" falls short of its potential as a thrilling "plane crash shark attack" movie, failing to capitalise on its B-movie premise. Writer Andy Mayson's attempt to blend disaster and aquatic horror lacks coherence and compelling characters. Directed by Claudio Fäh, the film struggles with dodgy CGI and uninspired storytelling, ultimately delivering a dull experience. Set to release on March 15, "No Way Up" disappoints as it sinks under the weight of its ambitious but poorly executed concept.

9.Chicken Nugget

Chicken Nugget follows a woman who accidentally turns into a chicken nugget in a strange machine. Her father and admirer must hurry to save her before it's too late. The series will premiere on Netflix on March 15.

10. Main Atal Hoon

Main Atal Hoon, offers a superficial portrayal of Atal Bihari Vajpayee, with Pankaj Tripathi shining amidst a lacklustre narrative. Director Ravi Jadhav fails to delve deep into Vajpayee's ideology, opting instead for a simplistic retelling of his speeches and achievements. The film lacks insight into Vajpayee's conservative mindset and political alliances. Main Atal Hoon will be released on Zee5 on March 1.
