Netflix’s award-winning web series Delhi Crime is back with its third season, and the trailer promises one of the most intense storylines yet. The series, which has consistently impressed viewers with its realism and powerful performances, returns with Shefali Shah leading as DCP Vartika Chaturvedi, facing her toughest adversary so far Huma Qureshi’s cold and calculating Badi Didi.

A New Crime, A Fierce Rivalry

The trailer for Delhi Crime 3 reveals a dark, layered narrative exploring human trafficking across several states, including Delhi, Bihar, Assam, Maharashtra, and Gujarat. Shefali Shah’s DCP Vartika, popularly called “Madam Sir,” is on a mission to dismantle a trafficking network that spans the country.

Her pursuit leads her to cross paths with Badi Didi, a powerful underworld figure portrayed by Huma Qureshi, who builds her empire by exploiting vulnerable girls. The emotional core of the story begins when an abandoned baby becomes the key to uncovering a nationwide trafficking web, forcing Vartika and her team into a desperate, high-stakes chase.

The Cast and Performances

The third season sees the return of Rasika Dugal, Jaya Bhattacharya, Rajesh Tailang, and Anuraag Singh, who reprise their roles from the previous seasons. The ensemble is joined by new faces including Sayani Gupta, Mita Vasisht, Kelly Dorji, and Anshumaan Pushkar, adding fresh energy and depth to the series.

Talking about her role, Shefali Shah said, “Returning as Madam Sir always feels deeply personal. Vartika is fighting an enemy that exists both within society and in its shadows. Human trafficking isn’t just the act of a few, it's a reflection of what we ignore every day.”

Huma Qureshi, who joins the franchise as the antagonist Meena, said, “Playing Badi Didi was unsettling yet powerful. She’s both a victim and a mastermind. That duality makes her terrifying. Delhi Crime doesn’t glorify villains; it forces us to face the truths we often avoid.”

Delhi Crime Season 3 will premiere on November 13, 2025, exclusively on Netflix.
