Season 1 Recap

The first season ended dramatically with Princess Rhaenys arriving on her dragon, interrupting Aegon II Targaryen's coronation. Instead of attacking, she joined Rhaenyra's side. The season ended on a cliffhanger with the death of Rhaenyra's son, Lucerys, at the hands of Prince Aemond and his dragon Vhagar. This sets the stage for the "Dance of the Dragons," a major conflict between dragonriders.
