Yeh Meri Family takes us back to 1995, where the Awasthi family faces new challenges as their kids grow up. But this season feels like a stretch, losing the charm of the earlier ones.

Yeh Meri Family Season 3 Review:

I loved the first season of Yeh Meri Family for its nostalgic vibe. But the magic faded in the second season, and sadly, it continues in the latest one. Set in 1995, the show misses the mark with its portrayal of the era. From outdated hairstyles to cliché outfits, it feels more like 1998.

The five episodes drag on, making it feel like a whole year passed instead of just a few weeks. The slow pace fails to capture the essence of the time period, resulting in a tedious viewing experience.

This season focuses heavily on parent-child relationships, but it falls short with repetitive scenes of Rishi being slapped by his parents. His struggles with bullying also feel overdone, lacking the impact of previous seasons.

Each episode delves deep into individual character arcs, sidelining other family members. The attempt at humor with altered movie titles falls flat, distracting from the main storyline.

Even the nostalgic songs feel like cheap imitations of 90s classics, further detracting from the plot. The season starts strong but quickly loses its charm, turning into a melodramatic mess.

While Anngad impresses with his performance, Hetal takes a backseat this time. Juhi's strict portrayal becomes predictable, while Rajesh's character borders on annoying.

Overall, Yeh Meri Family Season 3 fails to recapture the magic of its predecessors. With anachronisms and overdone drama, it falls short of expectations, missing the mark on nostalgic appeal.
