Amazon Prime has announced a list of shows and movies that will be aired this year and we can't wait! The slate of content lined up for the year includes new seasons of popular shows like 'Pataal Lok', 'Mirzapur', 'Family Man' and Panchayat along with the announcement of new shoes such as 'Citadel: Hunny Bunny', Call Me Bae, The Tribe, Follow Kar Lo etc.
Amazon Releases Lineup of Shows and Movies
Amazon Prime Video has thrilled fans with its 2024 lineup, boasting a whopping 69 new titles. Among the exciting offerings are web series and movies like "Citadel: Honey Bunny" starring Varun Dhawan, "Call Me Bae" featuring Ananya Panday, "Daldal" with Bhumi Pednekar, "Be Happy" led by Abhishek Bachchan, and "Subedaar" starring Anil Kapoor.
Following their theatrical run, Amazon will release 29 movies, including Rahul Dholakia’s "Agni," "Bad Newz" starring Vicky Kaushal and Triptii Dimri, "Family Star" featuring Vijay Deverakonda, and "Game Changer" with Ram Charan. Titles like "Ground Zero," "Madgaon Express," "Yudhra," "Yodha," "Teri Baaton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya," and "Ustaad Bhagat Singh" are also set for release.
Exciting action awaits with Shahid Kapoor’s "Ashwatthama: The Saga Continues," Sriram Raghavan's "Ikkis," "Stree 2," "Don 3" featuring Ranveer Singh, "Chandu Champion" starring Kartik Aaryan, "Kanguva" with Suriya, and "Kantara: A Legend Chapter 1" by Rishab Shetty. Additionally, "Baaghi 4," "Housefull 5," and an upcoming project by Shoojit Sircar will stream on Prime.
Boman Irani is set to make his Bollywood directorial debut with "The Mehta Boys," while Reema Kagti’s "Supermen of Malegaon" and "Chhorii 2" starring Nushrratt Bharuccha will also be released. Telugu films "Cheekati Lo" and "Uppu Kappu Rambu" are on the roster.
The lineup of the original series includes "Arabia Kadali" in Telugu, "Inspector Rishi" in Tamil, "Snakes and Ladders" in Tamil, and "Gangs Kuruthi Punal" in Tamil. Also featured is the Telugu talk show "The Rana Connection," hosted by Rana Daggubati.
Uorfi Javed’s reality show "Follow Karlo Yaar," along with "Khauf" and "Gulkanda Tales" by Raj and DK, are part of the lineup. "Matka King" featuring Vijay Varma with direction by Nagraj Manjule, as well as "Ma Kasum," "Rangeen," "The Great Indian Code," "The Revolutionaries," Pritish Nandy’s "Ziddi Girls," and Sooni Tarporwala’s "Waack Girls" are also included.
Returning favourites include "Paatal Lok," "Mirzapur," "Bandish Bandits," "The Vortex," "Suzhal" (Tamil), and "Panchayat." Additionally, Amazon Prime Video has unveiled "Sivarapalli" and "Thalaivettiyaan Paalayam," Telugu and Tamil adaptations of "Panchayat."
