The Journey Into the Alternate Dimension
John Cena’s Chris Smith, better known as Peacemaker, enters a new dimension with his team, the 11th Street Kids, including Leota Adebayo, Vigilante, Harcourt, Economos, and his loyal eagle Eagly. What seems at first like a chance at redemption for Chris quickly unravels into a chilling nightmare.
The Truth About Earth X
Chris believes he has found peace in Earth-2 but soon learns from Harcourt that this is not Earth-2 at all. Instead, it is Earth X, a horrifying reality where Nazis won World War II and the United States is under their rule. The evidence is everywhere, from the swastika-laden flag to the absence of people of colour in society. This revelation devastates the team and leaves them scrambling for survival.
Rick Flag Sr. Meets Lex Luthor
Meanwhile, in the real world, ARGUS leader Rick Flag Sr., played by Frank Grillo, makes a visit to Belle Reve prison. There he meets Lex Luthor, portrayed by Nicholas Hoult, who is serving a 265-year sentence after the events of James Gunn’s Superman. The meeting results in a dangerous alliance as Luthor offers Flag technology to track Peacemaker’s dimensional portal in exchange for a prison transfer.
Cameos From The Superman Universe
Episode 6 continues James Gunn’s style of blending universes with big cameos. Already this season, characters like Green Lantern, Hawkgirl, and Maxwell Lord have appeared. This time, Superman himself, played by David Corenswet, makes a brief but impactful appearance, heightening speculation about more DC icons showing up in the finale.
Trouble for the 11th Street Kids
The episode’s climax leaves the team scattered and in grave danger. Vigilante discovers his alternate self hates Peacemaker and has joined the Sons of Liberty. Economos is exposed by Auggie Smith, Harcourt is arrested by her Earth X counterpart, and Adebayo faces the most terrifying ordeal of all when she is chased through the neighbourhood simply for being Black, highlighting the dystopian horror of Earth X.
What Comes Next
Episode 6 ends on a tense cliffhanger, setting up a high-stakes penultimate episode where survival and escape seem nearly impossible. Fans are left wondering whether Peacemaker and his team can make it back to their world — and whether more DC heroes will appear before the season closes.
Peacemaker Season 2 has cemented itself as one of DC’s boldest and most unpredictable spinoffs. The shocking Earth X twist and Lex Luthor’s involvement raise the stakes like never before.
