Since its premiere, the romance comedy has captured the hearts of fans worldwide, achieving an impressive average nationwide viewership rating of 19 per cent.

As the series approaches its conclusion, tvN has announced that two special episodes will air after the drama's finale on April 28.

These special episodes are scheduled to premiere on May 4 and 5, offering fans an extended experience beyond the main storyline.

Further details about the special episodes will be unveiled by the network closer to the release date. Queen of Tears premiered on March 9 and is currently streaming on Netflix, with new episodes airing every Saturday and Sunday.

In the drama, Kim Soo Hyun, Kim Ji Won, Park Sung Hoon, and Kwak Dong Yeon take on lead roles in a business romance storyline.

The series follows Baek Hyun Woo, the legal director of the Queens Group, and Hong Hae In, the heiress of the chaebol, as they navigate marriage and attempt to reignite their once-lost love. 

The script is penned by Park Ji Eun, known for her work on popular dramas such as Crash Landing on You and My Love From the Star, while the series is directed by Kim Hee Won and Jang Young Woo.
