Chhoriyan Chali Gaon featured 11 women from different backgrounds including television, films, and social media. The contestants were Anita Hassanandani, Krishna Shroff, Aishwarya Khare, Sumukhi Suresh, Anjumm Fakih, Reha Sukheja, Rameet Sandhu, Erika Packard, Surabhi and Samriddhi Mehra (Chinki-Minki), and Dolly Javed. The show challenged them to leave behind their city comforts and live in a traditional village setup.

From milking cows and fetching water to cooking on chulhas and participating in local rituals, the contestants experienced rural India up close. Each week, they were judged on teamwork, adaptability, and contribution to the community, earning the title of Chhori Number 1 for outstanding performance.
